Magnate Familia squad: household janissaries in turquoise livery, a household haiduk and a Cossack

VII. Opponent only

Magnate Familia

Magnate militias in the Tsarina’s pay

Rebel Coalition magnates who side with the Diktat. Neither you nor the second player in two-player mode can command them: the Familia can only be fought. Its household militias are cheaper and weaker than regular troops, and for their superweapon the magnates call in Diktat Reinforcements.

    Diktat Reinforcements

Two units of Diktat Musketeers and one of Diktat Cuirassiers march out from the Familia’s Headquarters, usually towards wherever most of your troops stand within their reach. After a minute of fighting they return to their own side. The Familia cannot train these soldiers itself.

In early 1764 Andrzej Zamoyski and August Aleksander Czartoryski asked Catherine II for troops to use against the hetmans.
